Pippa Pop-ins are family owned Nursery Schools. Adam and Sarah Gosling have two children and are very involved with the Schools. Jane Robertson is a Director and has been at Pippa Pop-ins for 19 years. Her children attended Pippa Pop-ins.
Miss Rachel is the Principal of Pippa Pop-ins and oversees the education, management and recruitment of the Schools. She has a wealth of knowledge, Early Years qualifications and experience. Miss Rachel has taught both in the United Kingdom and overseas in Tokyo, Paris, Brussels and America. Miss Rachel has been at Pippa Pop-ins for 24 years.
Every School has a Head of Nursery and Deputy Head who you will meet on a daily basis.
If you call the Schools Office you can speak to Miss Maxine, Miss Amy, or Miss Julia. If you have any accounts queries, please speak to Miss Baiba.
Teaching Staff
At Pippa Pop-ins, our Teachers are highly qualified and experienced. The qualifications vary and are as follows: Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Bachelor of Education, Montessori Diploma, NNEB, Early Years Educator, NVQ Level 3, Level 3 and 5 in Management of Early Years or an Overseas Diploma (equivalent or higher).
All our staff have been very closely vetted by Pippa Pop-ins and references taken for the security and the welfare of your child. All have had Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and they all complete a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Course whilst at Pippa Pop-ins.
Pippa Pop-ins encourages their staff to continue with their Professional Development and sponsors training courses.
Continuity of Care
Pippa Pop-ins does not run a shift worker system. All our staff are employed on either a full-time or part-time basis so your child will have the continuity of the same teacher throughout the week, unless they do a mixture of sessions. If a teacher is unwell or unable to come to work, a member of our own team (cover teacher) will take their place.
